Canada Speaks in Diverse Ways/Les voix du patrimoine/ Aki Animitagozig, is a proposed educational web series that will present diverse Canadian experiences and history through narration, music, dance, language, regalia, law and more. Our goal is to encourage authentic change to the way we see, learn and speak about ourselves and others.

The trailer (above), is for the filmed, and still “in the works”, pilot episode, Justice On Tap/Justice de cabaret.  The title reflects the failed legal battle of Fred Christie, who was denied service of a beer because he was Black – an experience that was upheld as legal by the Supreme Court of Canada in 1939 (Christie v. York Tavern case).
