I have followed Deborah Davis\u2019 artistic, educational and inclusive productions for more than 20 years and am proud to be a part of the Odyssey Showcase advisory Board. From the onset of \u201cWhat is this Thing Called Jazz\u201d through its transition to \u201cThe Gift of Jazz\u201d, and the subsequent development of \u201cCanada Roars\u201d, Odyssey Showcase\u2019s productions continue to evolve with the times, remaining culturally responsive and diverse, historically accurate, and very entertaining.<\/p>\n<p>As a teacher, I can attest to the usefulness and relevance of the cross-curricular programs and resources offered by Odyssey Showcase, which have served me and my students very well over the years. Additionally, students enjoyed learning about Canada\u2019s history and watching the characters come to life and interacting with them on annual excursions to Ottawa.
