Excerpt from November 16, 2015, reference letter from Kathie Adare,
Manager-National Celebrations, External Relations and Visitor Experience Directorate, Parks Canada:

“At the request of Parks Canada, Odyssey Showcase created and presented a very special and successful tribute on the occasion of Sir John A. Macdonald’s bicentennial birthday in Memorial Hall in Kingston in January 2015.

This presentation included actors portraying Sir John A. Macdonald, Sir Georges Etienne Cartier, Lord Stanley, Sir John Franklin, Queen Victoria, Fenian soldiers and First World War soldiers and others.

Parks Canada funded the entire production and we were delighted with the results.

The production was bilingual, educational, original, entertaining and perfect for the target audience of new Canadians and their families and Canadian dignitaries.
